GA Sails has announced the release of the 2025 Vapor and Vapor Air models, targeted at slalom racing on both fin and foil setups. These sails are developed with performance-oriented design updates and are positioned as the brand’s top-tier race sails for the upcoming season.
Shared New Features for 2025
Both sails feature the new Continuous Radial Panel Layout, an upgrade inspired by membrane sail construction. This change replaces traditional horizontal panels with radial ones, designed to improve load distribution and provide more direct feedback to the rider.
Additional shared improvements:
- Upgraded batten specifications to match the new shaping and ensure structural support in demanding conditions.
- Refined leech twist, modified to optimize aerodynamic release and maintain balance across different wind ranges.
Vapor 2025 – For Fin Slalom
The Vapor has been redesigned for improved responsiveness and smoother handling. Key refinements include:
- A lighter and more reactive luff curve, improving acceleration and maneuverability.
- A more powerful lower profile and adjusted twist pattern for efficient power flow and improved upwind/downwind angles.
- Uses a 4-cam setup across all sizes, with a mix of small and race cambers depending on the sail size.
Available sizes: 5.3 / 5.7 / 6.7 / 7.7 / 8.4

Vapor Air 2025 – For Foil Slalom
The Vapor Air continues as GA’s foil-specific slalom sail, with refinements aimed at improving top-end speed and control:
- Fine-tuned luff curve and increased profile in the boom area to boost power and stability.
- Redesigned mid-leech release for smoother airflow and reduced drag.
- A revised size range, including a new 8.2, offering broader tuning options with fewer mast requirements.
Available sizes: 4.3 / 5.3 / 6.3 / 7.4 / 8.2
Availability
The first delivery of both models is scheduled for end of April 2025. Pre-orders are currently open for those preparing for the season ahead.
