Loftsails has revealed its 2027 collection, and we are now taking pre-orders. The new range brings three major launches for fast windsurfing: the all-new cam-free Speedscape, a new Racingblade generation for fin slalom and the dedicated foil-racing Skyblade. They are joined by an expanded Raceboardblade 2027 family.
The products are already listed in our shop. If your chosen sail still has a shorter product description, or you would like us to confirm timing, pre-order pricing and the right size, use our pre-order form. We will come back with a specific offer.
What's new in the Loftsails 2027 sail range?
Speedscape 2027: race character without cams
Speedscape is a completely new model in the Loftsails range. It is rooted in the proven Oxygen platform but uses a higher aspect ratio and a profile designed for more speed. The result is a cam-free freerace sail for windsurfers who want performance closer to a slalom sail without the extra complexity of cams.
A deeper lower profile builds power in lighter wind, while two clew eyelets extend the tuning range. The sail has been developed for use on both fin and foil boards.
Sizes: 4.1, 4.7, 5.4, 6.0, 6.7, 7.4 and 8.2 m².
Racingblade 2027: fin slalom
Racingblade remains a dedicated PWA fin-slalom sail. For 2027, Loftsails has revised the profile geometry, luff curve and batten angles. The higher aspect ratio is intended to reduce drag, while a slightly deeper profile below the boom helps the sail accelerate more smoothly.
Every size uses seven battens and three TekCam 3 cams. The 5.2 and 5.7 sizes are designed around RDM masts, with the larger sizes using SDM masts.
Sizes: 5.2, 5.7, 6.3, 7.0, 7.7, 8.4 and 9.1 m².
Skyblade 2027: a foil-slalom specialist
Skyblade is designed solely for competitive foil slalom. Its slim profile and flat entry reduce drag at close angles of attack, while the revised geometry improves stability and makes the sail less sensitive to sheeting at high speed.
Depending on size, Skyblade uses six or seven battens and three or four TekCam 3 cams. Carbon battens create a light and stiff framework around the profile.
Sizes: 4.3, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0 m².
Raceboardblade 2027: three versions for different conditions
The new Raceboardblade family was developed with the Loftsails Raceboard Team and consists of three clearly differentiated versions:
- Raceboardblade Lightwind V8 in 7.5, 8.5 and 9.5 m². This lightweight sail for light and medium wind uses five battens and four cams, with a design focused on effective pumping and early power.
- Raceboardblade Carbon V8 9.5 m² uses carbon reinforcement to reduce material stretch and maintain a consistent profile through the upper wind range.
- Raceboardblade AR 9.5 m² is the all-round option for a broad range of conditions. It has six battens, four cams and a higher aspect ratio, with a longer mast and shorter boom.
Carry-over models, masts and accessories
Established Loftsails models remain in the range, including Purelip, Wavescape, Windscape, Oxygen, Switchblade and Escape. Selected carry-over sails receive new colourways, including Green versions. Their first deliveries are planned for late August and early September 2026.
Loftsails has also updated the graphics on its masts, mast bags and extensions. The new Generation IV masts will initially be available in limited numbers. Formula Windsurfing racers can also enquire about the made-to-order BladeFR.
